Theme: Accelerate the Diagnosis, Prevention & Management of CNS Disorders
CNS 2017
It’s our pleasure to invite all the participants from all over the world to attend the 3rd International Conference on Central Nervous System Disorders and Therapeutics which is held during Oct 02-03, 2017 at Vienna, Austria.
The main theme of our conference is "Accelerate the Diagnosis, Prevention & Management of CNS Disorders" which covers a wide range of critically important sessions.
CNS disorders can affect either the brain or the spinal cord, resulting in neurological or psychiatric disorders. Causes of central nervous system diseases are trauma, infections, degeneration, autoimmune disorders, structural defects, tumors, and stroke.
Track 1: Neurobiology of CNS
The Central Nervous System has hundred billions of neurons which work by accepting, propagating and transmitting electrochemical impulses. Neurobiology deals with functional human neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of brain, spinal cord, white and gray matter, cerebrospinal fluid, synaptic and circuit dynamics.

Track 2: Neurotransmission
Neurochemical transmission is the process in which a neuron transfers its electrical activity to other target cells by releasing chemicals, called as neurotransmitters, across a chemical synapse. Dopamine, serotonin, neuropeptides are some of the neurotransmitters. Other methods of neurochemical transmission include neuromodulation and neuromediation.

Neuroimmunology and neuroinflammation deal with interactions between the immune system and nervous system and their involvement in nervous diseases. They encompass the study of psychoneuroimmunology, autoimmune disorders like myalgic encephalitis, transverse myelitis, meningitis and their possible treatment options through biosimilars and epigenetics.
