Dr. Pant received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Agra University, Agra, India. His postdoctoral studies were conducted on the mechanisms of electron and ion transport in model membrane systems at the Department of Biophysics at Michigan State University. He joined the Laboratory of Neurobiology in the NIMH as a senior staff fellow in 1974 with Dr. Ichiji Tasaki where he studied the function of the axonal cytoskeleton in the squid giant axon. In 1979 he moved to the NIAAA extending his studies on the neuronal cytoskeleton and the effects of alcohol on its regulation. Dr. Pant moved to the NINDS, Laboratory of Neurochemistry in 1987 where he is presently chief of the section on Cytoskeleton Regulation. His laboratory is studying the mechanisms of topographic regulation of neuronal cytoskeleton proteins by post-translational modification, including the role of kinase cascades in normal brain and during neurodegeneration.

Mikel Schmidt is from and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. He attended the University of California at Davis in California and earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. He became an adjunct professor in Kinesiology while earning my master's degree in Adapted Kinesiology at San Francisco State University. He has been a professor of Kinesiology at the College of San Mateo for almost 30 years. He works in a physiotherapy setting providing assistance for people with various disabilities including; Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, stroke, ALS, etc. In addition, He teaches theory in kinesiology and its subcategories, various activity classes, and lifesaving skills.

Dr. Al Jishi graduated from Arabian Gulf Neurosurgery-Bahrain and completed his Neurosurgery training at McGill University-Montreal in 2012. On completion of training, Dr. Al Jishi further completed Fellowships in Pediatric Neurosurgery and Spine Neurosurgery. He is recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon in Canada. Dr. Al Jishi is currently a practicing neurosurgeon with Hamilton Heath Sciences where he also carries the lead on the Neuromodulation Program for pain and spasticity. He published many papers in professional journals and has been an active participant in international conferences. Dr. Al Jishi’s particular interests are in neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery and spine research.

Professor WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. Professor Tang completed his medical training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an academic staff since 1999. His main research area is Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He has Fellowship in Neuro-oncology at Dresden/Germany and fellowship in Advanced Techniques in Neurosurgery at Tubingen/Germany.

Alessandro Morelli (born on 1943 – Degree in Chemistry) carried out research in varied fields of biology, focusing on those areas most directly linked to medicine. He investigated on the enzyme Glucose-6-P-dehydrogenase and on it’s molecular mechanism of senescence. He has been working in the phototransducion molecular events in photoreceptor cells of vertebrate retina. He has discovered the protein FX, a NADP dependent enzyme, catalyzing synthesis of GDP-L-fucose. He has been working on the effects of electromagnetic fields of extremely low frequency on the activity of enzymes involved in phototransduction in retinal cells of vertebrates. Moreover, he has put in evidence the reversible effects of electromagnetic fields on lipid-linked enzymes such as acetylcholinesterase of retinal synaptosomes. Recently, with Isabella Panfoli, Silvia Ravera, Daniela Calzia, has discovered the brain myelin energetic function and the ATP extramitochondrial synthesis operating in it, involving new paradigms for Neurobiology, with application in the study of Multiple Sclerosis and other neurodegenerative deseases.

Antonio Scilimati graduated cum laude in Chemistry at the University of Bari (Italy). PhD at the University of Wisconsin (USA). In "medicinal science", he uses the theranostic approach to target the cyclooxygenase (COX)-1 as a novel biomarker in oncology and neuroinflammation.

Then she pioneered in the geriatric care in the UAE by establishing the first MACE unit and the first Geriatric Core Curriculum for resident physicians in training Dr. Ibrahim received her MD from Damascus University, Syria where she specialized in Pulmonary Medicine then she moved to US where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. She completed her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio She is board certified in internal & Geriatrics medicine

Sevinj Hamidova is currently working as a managing director of Medical Tourism in Azerbaijan. She graduated with MD from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2009. She then completed Internship in City Clinical Hospital in Baku and has now worked for over 6 years as a Neurologist at several hospital settings. During this period, she has participated in many conferences and has taken several continuing education neurology courses in Turkey, Germany, Spain and Denmark. She is well skilled and has managed headache, stroke, epilepsy/EEG and prolotherapy protocols. She organized and now directs a small Headache Center in Baku.
