Biography
Mikel Schmidt is from and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. He attended the University of California at Davis in California and earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology. He became an adjunct professor in Kinesiology while earning my master's degree in Adapted Kinesiology at San Francisco State University. He has been a professor of Kinesiology at the College of San Mateo for almost 30 years. He works in a physiotherapy setting providing assistance for people with various disabilities including; Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, stroke, ALS, etc. In addition, He teaches theory in kinesiology and its subcategories, various activity classes, and lifesaving skills.
