Biography
Dr. Wissam Barada obtained his medical degree from the Lebanese University in 2001. Afterwards, He joined the American University of Beirut for post doctoral training and graduated as a Neurologist in 2008 after he completed two subsequent specialty training in Family Medicine as well as in Adult Neurology. He was elected president of the resident staff organization and was awarded the best fellow for the year 2008. His name appeared on many scientific papers published in prestigious international medical journals. He was involved in innovative clinical research in the field of regenerative medicine for neurological diseases. Dr. Barada started neurology practice as Attending Neurologist at the Rafic Hariri University Hospital in Beirut then joined the International Medical Center in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 2009 where he practiced as a Consultant Neurologist for 5 years. During his practice Dr. Barada built a reputable name in the region. Together with his team, he offered a state of the art clinical services and was actively involved in administrative tasks related to quality improvement as well as in teaching of junior staff. Dr. Barada is Lebanese, born and raised in Beirut. He masters Arabic, English, and French languages.
