Rodney O. Leacock, M.D., neurointensivist at Palmetto Health Neurosurgery Associates, is board certified in neurology, neurocritical care and vascular neurology. Leacock received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his neurology residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete a fellowship in neurocritical care at Wayne State University, Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and a stroke fellowship at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. His clinical interests include acute ischemic stroke, intracranial and subarachnoid hemorrhage, status epilepticus, and airway protection in patients with neurological disorders. He specializes in caring for patients with complex neurological diseases.

Giuseppe Scalabrino Born in Milan,on July 4, 1944. He Studied in Institute of General Pathology, University of Milan from 1965 to 1968 and at 1968 he became M.D., magna cum laude, discussing an experimental thesis on the radiosensitizing properties of aliphatic aldehydes. He worked in several positions as faculty of Institute of General Pathology at University of Milan from from 1969 to present. He was the Associate Professor of General Pathology at University of Milan from 1971 to 1985. He was honored as Assistant to the Chairman of General Pathology, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at University of Milan from 1973 to 1985. He has more than 100 Publications in high impact journals.

Francesco Massari MD, PhD, is an Interventional Neuroradiologist at the University of Massachusetts, MA, USA. Dr. Massari obtained his Medical Degree, Ph.D. and Master Degree at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, Italy. He completed two fellowship programs in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology, respectively at the Medical University of South Carolina, SC, USA and University of Massachusetts, MA, USA; where he received an advanced training in Brain and Spine Interventional Radiology. His research spans areas including the cerebrovascular pathology and spinal disease. He is Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Investigator in several clinical and laboratory international trials. He is an active member of several European and American Medical Societies, among which the American Medical Association (AMA), American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), Society of Neurointerventional Surgery (SNIS), American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR), European Society of Radiology (ESR) and Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE), as well as reviewer for multiple International Scientific Journals. His work has been presented at multiple national and international meetings and been published in scientific journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, Spine, Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery, Neuroradiology, Skeletal Radiology, Neurographics. He has been nominated for and won multiple awards at the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR) Annual Meeting for his research on spinal minimally invasive treatments.

Dr. Drini DOBI was born in January 27th, 1969, and graduated as PhD in University of Tirana, Albania in 1992, and has done the specialization course in Neurology from 1994-1998 in University Hospital Centre "Mother Teresa", Tirana Albania. After his specialization, he has done some other minispecialization course for neurorehabilitation in Instituto Carlo Besta, Milano, Italy, San Carlo , Milan, Italy and Don Carlo Gnocchi Milano, Italy and minispecialization course for neurosonology in UHC "Sestre Milosrdnice" Zagreb, Croatia. He has a lot of publications in some medical periodics and has participated in some of AAN Annual Meetings with his works, EFNS and EAN conferences, with his works too, and some other Neurological Conferences abroad. His Masters is in Rehabilitation in Parkinson Disease, in 2005 and PhD in Physical Rehabilitation after stroke in 2015. He is also the Member of EAN Scientific Pannel of Neurorehabilitation ,Scientific Pannel of neurotoxicology, and General Neurology.

Dr. Pant received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Agra University, Agra, India. His postdoctoral studies were conducted on the mechanisms of electron and ion transport in model membrane systems at the Department of Biophysics at Michigan State University. He joined the Laboratory of Neurobiology in the NIMH as a senior staff fellow in 1974 with Dr. Ichiji Tasaki where he studied the function of the axonal cytoskeleton in the squid giant axon. In 1979 he moved to the NIAAA extending his studies on the neuronal cytoskeleton and the effects of alcohol on its regulation. Dr. Pant moved to the NINDS, Laboratory of Neurochemistry in 1987 where he is presently chief of the section on Cytoskeleton Regulation. His laboratory is studying the mechanisms of topographic regulation of neuronal cytoskeleton proteins by post-translational modification, including the role of kinase cascades in normal brain and during neurodegeneration.

Dr. Al Jishi graduated from Arabian Gulf Neurosurgery-Bahrain and completed his Neurosurgery training at McGill University-Montreal in 2012. On completion of training, Dr. Al Jishi further completed Fellowships in Pediatric Neurosurgery and Spine Neurosurgery. He is recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeon in Canada. Dr. Al Jishi is currently a practicing neurosurgeon with Hamilton Heath Sciences where he also carries the lead on the Neuromodulation Program for pain and spasticity. He published many papers in professional journals and has been an active participant in international conferences. Dr. Al Jishi’s particular interests are in neuro-oncology, functional neurosurgery and spine research.

Currently he is Consultant Neurosurgeon, Orthopedic Department, spine section of Lanzo Hospital COF, Lanzo d’Intelvi in Italy and also Visiting Consultant Neurosurgeon, Orthopedic Department of Healthpoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi - UAE.

Dr Ibrahim is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, a consultant physician and a Quality Officer at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi She was trained at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, USA under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Palmer, concept originator of the Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) unit which was modeled internationally. Then she pioneered in the geriatric care in the UAE by establishing the first MACE unit and the first Geriatric Core Curriculum for resident physicians in training Dr. Ibrahim received her MD from Damascus University, Syria where she specialized in Pulmonary Medicine then she moved to US where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. She completed her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio She is board certified in internal & Geriatrics medicine.

Her studied structural changes in organs central and peripheral immune system in demyelination condition. Has 262 scientific works (4 patents) and working in National O.O. Bogomolets medical university, was provide lecture course of histology, cytology and embryology. Was prepare and edited textbook to students on medical universities “Histology, cytology, embryology”.Natalia Oleksiivna Melnyk – the Professor of the Department. Graduated from Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University in 1993, after an assignment she worked as an engineer in the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics. During 2008- 2011, she worked as Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Methodology of the University.
